A great man who owned a MASSIVE drilling company was downsizing the amount of equipment he had in his yard. There he had about 8 3rd Gen Ram 2500s which have been sitting there for the past year or so with varying issues. Now this man is a very generous man and has been all the years I’ve known him, but I never expected to be given a truck!

After going through all the issues each had, the one I received had either a shot tranny or just needed a new clutch. Engine ran like a champ! Cummins Diesel after all, the 414,000 miles on it only attested to how solid it has been. Slap it on a flatbed and haul it up to my house!

After pulling the tranny, the clutch was gonzo. And I mean GONZO! Nothing left to really even show, grab me a new clutch and I’m cruising around town in a truck that cost me the price of a clutch. Score! NOW comes the FUN STUFF!
